How much does Matt cost?
Matt offers several show options to fit a variety of needs and budgets, and the costs vary based on the type and duration of show, the venue, the location, and any additional expenses the specific show requires (such as assistants, special staging, or travel requirements). In general, Matt's fees reflect his experience, accomplishments and awards, and the cost of producing and performing new, original illusions which you can't see anywhere else. Many clients are surprised to find that a headlining entertainer is within their budget, and describe Matt's unforgettable customized show as "priceless." Feel free to contact Matt for a no-obligation quote.
I found another magician who's significantly cheaper. Why?
Is it really a similar show? All entertainers are not created equal. Like with any product or service, you generally get what you pay for. Matt's multi-award-winning show and copious experience will ensure a successful performance that goes as smoothly as possible. Lower-priced performers usually cannot deliver the same level of experience for your guests. Matt is among the most successful live event entertainers in the country, and takes pride in offering competitive fees given his experience, reputation, and the high quality of his performances. That's why nearly all of his clients ask him back for a repeat performance.
Can I see Matt's show before I hire him?
Because most of Matt's shows are for corporate or private functions, it is generally impossible to bring in outside spectators. Occassionally Matt showcases at a local venue where the public is allowed, and you can find out about these performances by subscribing to Matt's newsletter on the homepage. You can also view Matt's demo videos here.
Can Matt provide references?
Yes, Matt will happily provide references from those who he's entertained in the past, or you can check out what others have said about Matt's show here.
I need a host/emcee for an upcoming event. Can Matt do that?
Matt, having hosted nearly 1,000 live shows and events, has become one of the foremost emcees in the business for both the corporate and theatrical worlds. As in his magic, Matt brings his quick wit and down-to-earth personality to his hosting performances, whether or not they include illusion. You can find out more about Matt's hosting and emcee work by clicking here.
What are the techincal requirements of Matt's show?
Matt has material suitable for nearly any environment. To be sure, you do NOT need a full stage with fancy lighting and curtains to enjoy most of Matt's material. While his smaller performances, such as close-up or stand-up shows, have virtually no technical requirments, larger productions typcially require at least a well lit 12'x16' performance space and a basic sound system. Additional tech, including a projection screen and projector, may be used for certain shows, so be sure to discuss the specific requirements of your show with Matt when you call.
Does Matt do strolling or close-up magic?
In addition to his stage performances, Matt is an accomplished close-up magician and performs "strolling" or "walkaround" magic regularly, presenting small miracles right under the noses of spectators. He also offers exciting packages which include both strolling magic and a stage show. For more details, click here.
Can Matt tailor his show to include my company's message or products?
Absolutely! Matt's show can be custom-tailored to include themes, messages, and inside jokes so each performance is a unique, special, and unforgettable experience for the audience. In fact, several of Matt's routines are designed to be adaptable to include specifics about YOUR company or group within the trick itself. Matt can also involve specific excecutives, employees, or guests onstage. You can find out more about Matt's corporate work here, and be sure to discuss these options with Matt when you call.
Does Matt perform for trade shows?
Definitely. Matt's ability to articulately weave product information and corporate messages into his performance makes him a perfect choice for trade shows. He will deliver your information quickly, clearly, and magically, attracting conventioneers to your booth and generating more qualified leads than you thought possible.
